{"id":8821,"date":"2017-04-13T10:20:53","date_gmt":"2017-04-13T09:20:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.devopsonline.co.uk\/?p=8821"},"modified":"2017-04-13T15:00:12","modified_gmt":"2017-04-13T14:00:12","slug":"pulsant-to-host-sap-infrastructure-for-innovia-films","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/devopsnews.online\/pulsant-to-host-sap-infrastructure-for-innovia-films\/","title":{"rendered":"Pulsant to host SAP infrastructure for Innovia Films"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Innovia Films is a global manufacturer of biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) films used in the packaging, labelling and securities markets, and Pulsant has been selected to supply a dedicated hosting platform for its SAP infrastructure.<\/p>\n<h2>Moving an entire SAP infrastructure<\/h2>\n<p>Innovia took the decision to move its entire SAP infrastructure \u2014 supporting logistics, CRM and warehousing \u2014 to a hosting provider following its adoption of the SAP HANA platform.<\/p>\n<p>Pulsant is working with Edenhouse Solutions, a long-time customer and Innovia\u2019s SAP implementation specialist, to develop and implement the hosting solution, which includes Pulsant Enterprise Cloud, disaster recovery services and managed hosting. The solution is dual site, hosted out of Pulsant\u2019s Milton Keynes and Reading datacentres, two in the company\u2019s interconnected network of 15 sites.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are looking forward to this transformational project for Innovia\u2019s SAP system, and are delighted to be working with Pulsant to achieve a cloud solution tailored for Innovia\u2019s needs,\u201d says Director of Finance and Administration, Dominic Heaton.<\/p>\n<p>The project is already underway with one of the platforms installed and running.
