It was recently reported that Singapore has been updating its cyber security strategy in order to address cyber threats more actively.<\/p>\n
Indeed, the new strategy will focus\u00a0on building resilient infrastructure, enabling safer cyberspace, and enhancing international cyber cooperation. It will also emphasize non-CII entities which could have significant repercussions for the rest of the country.<\/p>\n
The Cyber Security Agency (CSA) is currently\u00a0working closely with CII owners to strengthen the\u00a0security of their operational technology (OT) systems in order to develop a new OT security competency framework that enterprises can use to establish processes, structures, or jobs to manage OT security. It will also ensure that\u00a0Singapore\u2019s cyberspace is safe by simplifying cyber security for end-users.<\/p>\n
To do so, the CSA has launched the SG Cyber Safe partnership programme that will establish training content, products, and services within organizations, as well as community outreach programs to raise awareness and encourage the adoption of good cyber security practices.<\/p>\n
Moreover, the CSA has also developed cyber security toolkits for large enterprises and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).<\/p>\n
