New research from Gartner revealed that Australian organisations are expected to spend around $10.6 billion on public cloud services this year, which is an increase of 18.4% from 2020.<\/p>\n
The study also found out that spending on public cloud services should grow 23.1% in 2021. Software as a service (SaaS) should then remain the largest market segment, which is forecast to reach A$5.7 billion in Australia in 2021.<\/p>\n
Moreover, Infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) and desktop-as-a-service (DaaS) will also witness high growth in 2021, especially as CIOs are expected to scale infrastructure that supports moving complex workloads to the cloud and the demands of a hybrid workforce.<\/p>\n
