Indeed, the research shows that by 2022, 60% of all network resources will be deployed at remote edge or service provider locations, and by 2023, over 50% of new enterprise IT infrastructure deployed will be at the edge instead of corporate data centers. Besides, 73% of industry professionals stated that they consider edge as a strategic investment while another 17% declared that it is required by business operations.<\/p>\n
Hence, it was reported that\u00a0a 40% increase in edge deployment of the network resource is predicted by 2022.<\/p>\n
The report also highlights the trend for content processing to move to the edge, so it can offer high-quality video experiences with minimal buffering and cost reductions.<\/p>\n
