{"id":20885,"date":"2019-09-03T11:17:03","date_gmt":"2019-09-03T10:17:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.devopsonline.co.uk\/?p=20885"},"modified":"2019-09-03T11:17:03","modified_gmt":"2019-09-03T10:17:03","slug":"iland-takes-on-catalyst-to-assist-with-cloud-migration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/devopsnews.online\/iland-takes-on-catalyst-to-assist-with-cloud-migration\/","title":{"rendered":"iland takes on Catalyst to assist with cloud migration"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In a move to make it easier for customers to move to the cloud from traditional data centres, cloud service provider, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iland.com\/\">iland,<\/a> is adding new features to its complementary cloud assessment tool.<\/p>\n<p>Its hoped that the new characteristics will be able to predict requirements for workloads, applications, and production sites.<\/p>\n<p>The security application and cloud service for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.devopsonline.co.uk\/aqua-security-announces-partnership-with-vmware-cloud-marketplace\/\">VMware company<\/a> introduced a catalyst to assists businesses model and right size cloud requirements for disaster recovery, cloud backup or migration without over-provisioning or under-provisioning.<\/p>\n<h4>Migrating to cloud services<\/h4>\n<p>Firms that move from traditional data centres to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.devopsonline.co.uk\/why-big-cloud-firms-are-feeling-the-threat\/\">cloud-based infrastructures<\/a> need to predict resources based on the number of times an application has been used.
