On the 16 October 2018,\u00a0Millenium Gloucester Hotel, Kensington, London,\u00a0The DevOps Industry Awards<\/a> will be celebrating companies and individuals who have accomplished significant achievements when incorporating and adopting DevOps practices.<\/p>\n After 48 hours of tough debate and expert analysis, our team of 12 independent judges <\/a>reached their final conclusions and decided which teams and projects are worthy of being finalists!<\/p>\n Showing demonstration of impactful automation in a project; verification of project goals, importance, achievements and successful results; evidence of overcoming project challenges\/obstacles; detailed discussion around project methodology and justification of tooling\/resource choice and evidence of commitment to industry best practices and standards, here are the finalists for the best use of automation in a DevOps project:<\/p>\n Presenting demonstration of successful cloud adoption in a project; verification of project goals, importance, achievements and successful result; proof of overcoming project challenges\/obstacles; detailed discussion around project methodology and justification of tooling\/resource choices and evidence of commitment to industry best practices and standards, the finalists for the best use of cloud technologies in a DevOps project include:<\/p>\n Providing evidence of continued, excellent leadership skills; proof of a commitment to the greater IT community and dedication to furthering DevOps; a testament of outstanding communication skills, with both internal and external stakeholders; examples of procedures put in place to ensure high-quality results and evidence of self-improvement and commitment to high standards, the potential winners to be awarded as the most outstanding individual manager or team leader over the last 12 months are:<\/p>\n Judges looked for evidence of continued, first-rate communication in-between both team members and with other stakeholders; examples of achieving project aims and targets through effective teamwork; proof of a commitment to the greater IT community and dedication to furthering DevOps; demonstration of strong team ethos and evidence of problem-solving and self-improvement within the team.
