launches AI cloud services in India"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today, IBM launched its artificial intelligence (AI) powered enterprise marketing cloud services in India.<\/p>\n<p>The new AI allows firms to store customer data within India and will be offered from the country&#8217;s local data centre.<\/p>\n<p>Indian clients&#8217; will now have the ability to market data on IBM&#8217;s cloud data centre, giving them scalability, as well as the chance to abide by data requirements.<\/p>\n<h2>Privacy regulations<\/h2>\n<p>This move will help Indian government agencies and businesses ensure their clients have more control over their data in line with privacy regulations, especially in sectors such as banking and insurance.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIBM India, in the truest sense, is a microcosm of the IBM company,\u201d Vanitha Narayanan, Chairman of the company\u2019s Indian operations, said in an interview at IBM\u2019s main campus in Bangalore.<\/p>\n<h2>Tech to predict natural disasters<\/h2>\n<p>IBM\u00a0also revealed it will be investing in technologies to predict natural disasters like\u00a0floods\u00a0and cyclones in India, as part of a US$30million global programme aimed at disaster relief.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the programme, it is calling on software developers and its employees to create the required solutions using cloud, data,\u00a0artificial intelligence\u00a0and\u00a0blockchain\u00a0platforms.<\/p>\n<p>The company will be holding road shows in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Delhi and Mumbai in the next coming months to promote the
