Aimee leads AWS Solutions Architecture for Enterprise customers in the Mid-Atlantic and Carolinas. Aimee has an extensive experience leading large organizations in Agile, DevOps and Cloud transformations. She specializes in building high performing product teams using modern application architectures and practices. For 16 years Aimee was a Software Systems Engineer at The MITRE Corporation where she owned the corporate application delivery system and implemented Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery (CICD) and introduced DevOps. In 2015 Aimee joined Capital One’s Credit Card Technology division to lead in their transformation to DevOps leveraging the AWS cloud. After 2 years she moved into Capital One’s Enterprise Cloud and Network Services organization to support executing a transformation at-scale. In December 2019 Aimee joined S&P Global’s Market Intelligence division as the Head of the DevOps and Cloud Centers of Excellence. Aimee has her B.S. in Management Science – Decision Support Systems from Virginia Tech and a M.S. in Systems Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. Aimee is a rare native of Northern Virginia. She lives in Vienna, VA with her husband Andy, their four children and two dogs. If Aimee isn’t reading a book, binge watching or boating then she is on the Pickleball court practicing her dink.
