Amazon has recorded rising growth in its cloud computing services, with its Amazon Web Service (AWS) revenue reaching US$5.1billion in 4Q17, representing a 45% growth.

Out of its three revenue reporting segments, International, North America and AWS grew its fastest in 4Q17.

AWS saw a 45% growth year over year (YoY), with North America revenues growing 38% YoY, and international revenues expanding by 29%.

According to Market Realist, Amazon’s cloud growth is fueling business because of AWS and existing customers expanding their use of the cloud platform.

Amazon has also recently signed existing and new cloud contracts with Capital One, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Walt Disney, Expedia, Symantec and the National Football league in 4Q17.

Azure powers modules in the AMPLIFY platform, including:
