Security to be the biggest risk for Canadian organizations

A recent study by ITWC revealed that security is the biggest risk that Canadian organizations face today.

Indeed, 81% of business leaders have reported that security was one of the highest concerns and top priorities within their enterprise. Balancing security and accessibility is then a key challenge.

However, 79% of respondents are rather optimistic about how their organizations will be handling this over the next year. This is mainly due to the fact that CIOs are playing a more strategic role within the business. There are still challenges over budget and culture before reaching better management and leadership.

Yet, 85% of respondents have stated that their security investments have met or exceeded their expectations, while 74% have said the same about the cloud. Hence, it was reported that the cloud would be the key to digital transformation priorities and improving customer experience.
