Google to open a new cloud region in India

Google has recently announced that it has opened a new cloud region in Delhi National Capital Region (NCR), following its Mumbai region in 2017.

Indeed, the company declared that it has witnessed significant growth in demand for Google Cloud services in India over the past few years.  So, expanding their services in a new cloud region was the perfect solution to offer more capacity for growth. This will then allow better support for customers and the public sector in India and across the Asia Pacific.

Moreover, Google will benefit from low latency and high performance of their cloud-based workloads and data. Hence, Delhi NCR will be joining 25 existing Google Cloud regions through a high-performance network throughout the globe.
