Edge Testing expands DevOps practices

Edge Testing Solutions, an independent company that’s partnered with Eurofins Digital Testing, has added new employees, project wins, and a comprehensive DevOps educational programme to its organisation.

As part of the company’s push to help organisations shift to DevOps, Edge Testing have announced the appointment of Gal-on Broner, a Principal Technical Consultant who will help improve Edge Testing’s DevOps services.

Gal-on Broner, the former CTO of Tesnet in the UK, has 14 years of expertise in the software testing industry, and has worked on many testing projects during his time at Tesnet.

Gal-on works mainly on the consultancy side; managing and accessing testing projects, implementing agile methodology, scrum, and manual, regression and user acceptance testing. His new role will involve reporting to Dan Martland the head of Edge Testing technical practice.

Sharon Hamilton, Managing Director, Edge Testing, commented: “We hired Gal-on to lead our growing DevOps practice as he has the knowledge necessary to provide a balance of technical test capability and application of best fit tools.”

His appointment follows the company’s decision to recruit more senior members of technical staff over the last year. Edge said that the company’s recent expansion and new hires will help the company grow into new markets across the UK.

The software company also recently declared four major client wins for several top software testing solution companies.

The company said that their four new client wins was valued at a total of £17.5 million.

Edge also recently launched a Digital Test Hub (DTH) concept in Glasgow, Scotland – the first DTH to open in the UK. Their second DTH opened last year in the Midlands.

The company highlighted that their new road map includes a new DTH that’s based in North England to allow clients within the UK to effectively manage their in-house applications or back office systems.
