Edge Testing announces it will be speaking at DevTest North

A UK based software testing company, Edge Testing, has announced their participation at this year’s DevTest North.

The annual DevOps Conference, which will be held in Leeds on 24th-25th September, will see expert companies from around the world holding talks, workshops and Q and A sessions. The event is being held for those interested in anything DevOps based, including cloud, networking, security and quality assurance.

Edge Testing

Matthew Clarke, Edge Testing’s Senior Performance Engineer and Test Specialist, will be presenting at the event on the topic “Crystal ball gazing: Marrying capacity models and load testing”.

He hopes this will provide an overview of well-established methods that exist for estimating environmental requirements, as well as discussing how to apply them. The performance tester also wants to demonstrate techniques used to validate and digest complex results that arise after carrying out a test.

Along with these themes, the presentation will use real case studies to validate any points.

The company says they are conducting a presentation due to the quick-moving development that DevOps is experiencing.

An excellent opportunity

Dan Martland, Head of Technical Testing Practice at Edge Testing, commented that taking part in DevTest North not only allows the company to share their expertise but also gives the DevOps and software testing community a chance to come together.

He says, “Participating in DevTest North gives us another opportunity to meet and greet the regional testing community. This follows on from our recently-opened Digital Test Hub in Manchester, which underlines our commitment to servicing Northern clients from an accessible office.”

Edge Testing’s expertise lies in testing tools, cybersecurity, and testing services.
