Developers to prefer working in remote environments

It was recently found out that developers rather work at home even though the way they perform some of these functions have returned to pre-pandemic norms.

Indeed, a recent study by GitHub revealed that only 10.7% of developers wanted to work in the office full or part-time while 47.6% of developers prefer hybrid work. 38.8% voted for working in a fully remote environment.

Moreover, it was reported that pull requests are being merged almost twice as fast at work when compared to open source. It was noted that those work pull requests were also merged 25% slower than 2020, showing that the work rhythm is returning to pre-pandemic levels.
