A new survey by Stack Overflow revealed that most developers are interested in blockchain but very few have actually built any products or services with it.

Indeed, it was found out that 61% of developers believe that blockchain is an innovative technology while 38% think the contrary. Yet, the study reports that only 24% have built anything with blockchain but 62% want to do so.

Moreover, the report showed that 81% of developers working on blockchain projects are using the blockchain as a side project or hobby with 57% developing blockchain at work.

It was also reported that Ethereum is the most popular blockchain technology, followed closely by Hyperledger and OpenChain.
