Cisco aims to buy start-up for US$125million

Cisco has recently upgraded its internal efforts for AI development by announcing its intention to purchase a small start-up called MindMeld for US$125million.

The leading worldwide IT company has its own AI platform, giving businesses the option to build conversational interfaces into applications and devices.

MindMeld will be used to give Cisco a conversational AI platform, entity extraction, advanced natural language solutions in the areas of language semantics, and extensive libraries for vocabulary.

To advance their teams collaboration tool, Cisco will be using the latest technology called Spark, and the brand will be using their own machine-learning algorithms to develop natural language transactions with chat assistance.

The AI platform, which is a cloud-central solution, will then be completed by a group of doctors with a Spark board, used to pull up X-rays, health records and other crucial information.

Spark also has the ability to introduce chat bots that completes tasks automatically, interacting with workers, virtual agents that handle customer care, and room kits to enhance smaller meetings.
