Businesses to adopt more cloud strategies over the past year

It was recently found out that most organizations are now hosting more than half of their workloads in the cloud as the overall cloud adoption has increased by 25% in 2021.

Indeed, a study by Palo Alto Networks showed that businesses moved quickly to the cloud following the repercussions of the COVID pandemic. Although security remains challenging as well as managing technical complexity and meeting compliance requirements, more and more companies have switched to the cloud in the past year.

Moreover, it was reported that these transformations were more successful when organizations had a cohesive strategy for moving to the cloud. They also reach better business outcomes by embracing security and automation within their cloud strategy.

Hence, 80% of organizations with strong cloud security posture have declared having better workforce productivity. Besides, businesses with DevSecOps principles are over seven times more likely to have a very strong security posture.
