Aqua Security launches Microsoft Azure Marketplace

Platform provider Aqua Security has announced a collaboration with Microsoft Azure Marketplace.

Aqua Security safeguard cloud native and container-based applications.

The new capability enabling software licensing and buying system will allow customers to use updated purchasing methods in place of Azure amenities.

The software is being launched through the Microsoft Azure Marketplace and users will be able to choose flexible software acquisition models in a way that works for them to purchase licenses on Azure.

What’s new?

Part of the new Aqua Cloud Native Security Platform (CSP) is that it now offers more assistance in Microsoft Cloud Native Technologies. Such as Azure Container Instances (ACI), Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), and the Azure Functions serverless compute service.

For faster and simpler placement, the platform also has Azure Container Registry (ACR), Azure Vault and out-of-the-box integration with Azure DevOps development tools.

Working closely with Microsoft

On the new software, Upesh Patel, Vice President of Business Development for Aqua Security says: “The tight Aqua-to-Azure integration enables us to work closely with Microsoft in co-selling and joint marketing activities that educate enterprises on how they can leverage emerging security technologies like Aqua to mitigate the security concerns of running applications in the public cloud,”

Patel continues: “The Aqua-Microsoft collaboration in the field optimizes the evaluation and production rollout processes, enabling IT security teams to harden their organizations’ security postures, and DevOps to quickly realize the benefits of working within these powerful Azure environments.”

Simplifying processes

Jeana Jorgenson, GM, Cloud and AI for Microsoft Corp also spoke of the benefit of the application. She said, “The availability of Aqua’s enterprise class security solution through the Microsoft Azure Marketplace simplifies the process of building out a secure infrastructure for cloud applications. Customers deploying containers on Azure can utilize the Private Offer process to quickly get a quotation and complete their purchasing cycle.”
