Apple’s reality television series ‘Planet of the Apps’ based on the world of app developers trying to bring their ideas to the masses starts this Tuesday.

Developers will be trying to pitch an app to build their products, which the makers of Snapchat, Lightspeed Venture Partners will fund.

“The question when you have ideas is how to take those to fruition. Sometimes you may not know how and you might be afraid of what’s involved. This programme really shows how that’s possible,” said Eddy Cue, Apple’s Senior Vice President.

Viewers will be able to download the apps featured on the series from Apple’s App Store, which will be promoted via iTunes and Apple.com
